I have long heard the legend of the Halloween Pop Tarts. Those magical, limited-edition, seasonally-themed delicacies that are sadly unavailable in Canada.
So when I saw this display tonight upon arriving in Cape Ann, Massachusetts, for the weekend, my heart leapt with joy. The dream has finally become reality.

I find it funny how they "Halloweenise" every little piece of bakery, candy and sweet things in the shops. Today I saw Halloween donuts recently, was very tempted to buy them, then thought: "wait a second, it's only donuts with orange and black glazing". I might fall into temptation tomorrow.
Ahhh yes. I bought some last year and need to make a stop at the store sometime this week now that you've reminded me of these. Not the best, flavor wise, but how can you resist?
I love that there are more Hallowe'en themed foodstuffs out lately.
But, man, I just can't eat those processed foods anymore. All that gmo cornsyrup alone will lay-me-low.
I used to enjoy going out to fast food joints each October, and getting the kids meal toys. But now it hardly seems worth it.
Oh vell!
Celebrate your Hallow's eve with Halloween chocolates.
