the sweet taste of autumn
The journey home from Thanksgiving weekend in Cape Breton was glorious. Warm and sunny and lined with red, orange and yellow trees. The perfect day for a stop at a roadside market.
Where they had not one, not two, but three kinds of seasonal fudge. Pumpkin Praline. Pumpkin Nut. And Caramel Apple.
Of course, it was necessary to buy every one of them.

I love the thought of all the Halloween Spirits of the world congregating at the these roadside stands, scoping out the fall goods.
We may be freaks, but we are all freaks together! Now pass me some of that fudge.
I think I gained 3 pounds just by looking at the image...ha! Yummy yummy!
