in stores now

The first bins of pumpkins have begun appearing at grocery stores. Look at them. Sitting there. Mocking my pumpkin crop failure.

We did pumpkins at home last year. I had to self germinate and got one. I nurtured her, never neglected her (til the cucumber beetles attacked)....and when she was ready to come off the vine, I loved her. Then the squirrels ate her before Halloween, and then she fell off the porch and kersplat!....I feel your pain. But don't give up. I'm going to try again next year! So should you!

Well don't feel too bad. I am a pumpkin farming failure myself and misery loves company! :o)
