Well, it’s that time of year again – time to indulge in my guilty pleasure (at least one of them): setting up my Simpsons Treehouse of Horror collection. The good people at Burger King offered these with their kids’ meals for two consecutive Halloween seasons several years ago. So, through two Octobers (and many, many, Whopper combos) my family made the weekly trek to our local Burger King to help build my collection.
Sure, I could have simply walked in and puchased them without the accompanying food, but hey, that would have been cheating, and it would have robbed my children of wonderful fast-food memories. (Oddly enough, they never asked to go to Burger King much after this.) Sadly, despite my determined effort, my collection is not complete and I’m always on the look-out at yard sales for the last few missing pieces. Nonetheless, it brings me indescribable joy to bring these out every Halloween season and to anticipate a month of Treehouse of Horror re-runs on Teletoon.

Those look great as a large group like that.
That's quite the impressive collection. I don't think I would have lasted that long and probably would have cheated, though I agree that getting the toy as part of a meal is really where it's at.
